Following my assessment with SuperDoc, i have been asked to go for a Lumbar puncture back home in Sheffield at the hospital that i attend there. The reason being that the liquid recieved from the spinal tap should show my CSF hypocretin levels. Apparently those that have narcolepsy will show a relitively low amount  of this when tested in such a way.

I have yet to decide whether or not i want to do this, i have to admit - i am really not fond of the idea of submitting myself to this procedure at all. I know that House MD does it all the time without any problems but in the real world i just don't like the idea of it, not one bit!

Needles in the spine - i just don't think so!
